My Quiche Pie



*crust:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
3 tablespoons iced water


*filling: (this will be according to your preference on what toppings you would like you quiche pie to have)
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup cheese (easy-melt)
1/2 cup diced ham
1/2 tablespoon dried basil leaves
1/2 cup plum tomato with tomato juice (can)
1/2 diced shallots


to do:
1. combine all ingredients of the crust in a bowl. mix until the dough can be formed into a sphere. using a rolling pin, flatten the dough to be used as crust for the quiche in a 9-inch circular tray. in a preheat oven of 400 degrees F (200 degrees C./ medium heat), put the tray into the oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.


2. for the filling, combine all ingredients and mix.


3. after the crust has set to a golden brown, put it out of the oven and add the filling evenly of the tray.


4. bake it again for 30-40 minutes so the filling will set into place.
